New Thai Restaurant in Frankwell, Shrewsbury
A new Thai restaurant has opened in Franwell, Shrewsbury above Albert’s Pour House and we’ve got news for you…
It tastes AMAZING!
You don’t have to take our word for it. They’re offering 20% discount up to the 4th December when you use the code ThaiD20 on their site: thaidfoodbar.com.
At the time of writing, we’re all in Lockdown 2.0 but you can still get the taste of authentic Thai food direct from the kitchen for collection or delivery from Tuesday to Sunday.
Restaurant Quality Thai Food with a Twist
So what makes Thai-D Food Bar so special is not only their care and consideration for the food they cook, of which by the way, is made from the highest quality ingredients.
It’s also not just their passion for all things Thai cuisine either, Ben and Nat are a husband and wife combo with roots in Thailand. While Nat is all about the authentic style of cooking, Ben brings with him the kitchen flair of Thai-inspired street food.
So it’s like having two restaurants in one.
Thai-D Authentic Thai Restaurant (Upstairs)
While Shrewsbury has a few Thai restaurants, on the Frankwell side of the Welsh bridge there are none. Making this one Thai restaurant that’s easy to reach by car or by foot, ideally situated at the foot of the Theatre Severn.
What’s cool about this Thai restaurant is it’s directly above Albert’s Pour House, that means you can have fresh, healthy Thai food and a luxury cocktail (or milkshake).
So you never have to feel guilty about going overboard, you’ve found the healthy balance of super foods and delicious cocktails.
Bar Snacks (Downstairs)
Thai-D street food options are available downstairs as bar snacks which include some of our very favourite Thai-infused concoctions, such as: Sticky Beef Paratha Wrap with Halloumi Fries.
There’s vegan and vegetarian options too, GF too if you require it.
